成都市盐道街中学是一所文化底蕴丰厚、办学理念先进、办学特色鲜明、办学效益显著，全国知名的百年名校。
学校源起于1906年创办的公立四川省优级选科师范学堂，发展至今，办学历史已逾百年。1962年，四川省人民政府创办成都市盐道街学校，进行“十年一贯制”的学制改革实验，直属四川省委宣传部、四川省教育厅管理。1978年，办学体制调整，与小学分离，更名为四川省成都市盐道街中学。
学校地处成都市中心，北望天府广场，南接锦江清溪。占地面积80余亩，布局合理，环境优雅，分高中部、初中部两个校区。现有教职工319人，在校学生3000余人。
一个世纪以来，历代盐中人秉持“整合育人，和谐发展”办学理念，大气谋事、精细做事、和谐共事，致力于创造适宜学生发展的教育，一步一个脚印迈向高位发展。在全国率先开展“中学自主选择性课程研究”，于长期的教改实践中构建了中学素质教育的“整合教育模式”，素质智育、艺体美育、品质心育、公民教育等课程体系日臻完善，教育教学创新研究连续五届获得省政府教学成果奖。
兴校百余年，学校遍植桃李，广育英才，培养了成千上万的人才，校友足迹遍布全世界。
Chengdu Yaodaojie Middle School is a famous century-old and nationally known school with rich culture, advanced educational ideas, distinct educational characters, and remarkable educational benefits.
Our school originates from a public normal school founded in 1906 in Sichuan and has century-old history by far. In 1902, Sichuan Provincial Government decided to establish Chengdu Yandaojie School to carry out the experiment of school system, and the school had been under administration of the Propaganda department of Sichuan Province and the Educational department of Sichuan Province. In 1978, Our school is departed from its primary school as a result of the adjustment of educational system, and changed its name to Chengdu Yaodaojie Middle School.
Our school is located in the center of Chengdu, with Tianfu Square to its north and Jinjiang River to its south. Covering an area of 80 acres, the school is marked by its reasonable layout and elegant environment. At present, our school contains the north and south campuses with 319 teachers and over 3,000 students.
For a century, each generation of Yandaojie has stuck to the idea of integrating education and harmonious development. With long-term plan, elaborate work, and harmonious cooperation, our school devotes to an education suitable for student development, and has made great achievements. Our school is one of the first group of schools to carry out the research of automatic option of curriculum in middle school, and constructs the mode of integrating education suitable for quality-oriented education. Nowadays the course system of intellectual education, art and aesthetic education, qualified psychological education, and citizenship education in our school are becoming mature. Beacause of the researches of educational and teaching innovation, our school has got the Provincial Teaching Achievement Prize successively for 5 years.
